Father, with you are wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are yours. If you tear down, it cannot be rebuilt; if you imprisons a person, there is no escape. Isaiah 9
Father, though I have travelled the narrow road, I have become impatient along the way. My actions have spoken against you and your church. I have questioned your direction and authority with words like "Why" and "How". So you sent correction my way and my words changed to, "I have sinned, for I have spoken against you." Father, remind me that even when I'm minding my own business and doing my work, a false testimony is nearby. It can grab me as I flee from it. It can be used against me without cause. But you show your servant kindness. You grant me favor in the sight of the warden. You are with me and make whatever I am doing successful. Amen.
Genesis 39
Father, remind me that if I want to become a follower of Jesus, I must deny myself, take up my cross, and follow Him. To save my life I must lose it, but to lose my life for His sake and for the gospel, I will save it. For what benefit is it for me to gain the whole world, yet forfeit my life? What can I give in exchange for my life? For if I am ashamed of Him and His words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of me when he comes in the your glory with the holy angels. Help me be a true follower of my King. Amen.

Father, I will shout for joy over your victory; I will rejoice in the name of my God! May you grant all my requests! With every prayer and petition, remind me to pray at all times in the Spirit, being alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
