And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.

Thanks

Father, may I be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. Let my words be free of vulgar speech, foolish talk and course jesting. Remind me not to be anxious about anything. Thank you for your creation! Thank you for your provision! Thank you for your grace! Thank you for including me! Thank you for your enrichment! Praise be to the Lord of all! Thanksgiving is my song! I enter your presence with thanks. I shout out to you in celebration. Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, honor and power and strength be to my God for ever and ever. Amen!
