And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.

Daily

Father, give me today my daily bread. Remind me to give my brother and sister who are poorly clothed and lack daily food, what their body needs. I will listen to your wisdom, watching at my door day by day for it, waiting beside my doorway. I will deny myself, take up my cross daily, and follow you. The Lord deserves praise! Day after day you carry my burdens, the God who delivers me. In Christ's name, Amen.
