And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.

Generosity

Father, I have been enriched in every way so that I may be generous on every occasion, which is producing through me, thanksgiving to you, because the service of my ministry is not only providing for the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing with many thanks to you. May you be glorified because of my confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of sharing it with everyone. Lord, to each one of us, grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Your work is majestic and glorious, and your faithfulness endures forever. My house contains wealth and riches; my integrity endures because I obey you, my King. For I know the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for my sake, so that I, by his poverty, could become rich. You have taught me to be an honorable person who makes honorable plans; my honorable character gives me security. I will give, and it will be given to me: A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be poured into my lap. For the measure I use will be the measure I receive. According to the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

You remind me that He is so giving and never asks for nothing except our obedience.
