Hardened

Father, you are wise in heart and mighty in strength, who has resisted you and remained safe? Keep me from having an evil, unbelieving heart that forsakes you. Teach me to exhort others each day, as long as it is called “Today,” that none of us may become hardened by sin’s deception. For we have become partners with Christ, if in fact we hold our initial confidence firm until the end. Now may you, the God of peace, who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, equip us with every good thing to do your will, working in us what is pleasing before you through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
